Cordelia Coltart is a Public Health Fellow at the World Health Organization in Geneva. Cordelia recently graduated from Harvard University`s School of Public Health with a Master of Public Health, concentrating in Global Health.
Originally from London, Cordelia obtained a Bachelor’s in Science in Human Genetics from University College London and a medical degree from Imperial College London. Cordelia then went on to complete her residency in internal medicine, during which she became interested in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Medicine and hence completed the Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. She has subsequently started an academic clinical fellowship registrar training rotation at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the Hospital of Tropical Diseases. She is interested in public health issues, particularly at the interface of infectious diseases and maternal medicine, in addition to disaster relief. Cordelia is a born and bread true Londoner, but has undertaken short clinical placements working in Belize, Nigeria, Fiji, the British Virgin Islands and Brazil. More recently she has worked in South Africa (on a PEPFAR funded HIV program) and undertaken medical relief work in post-earthquake Haiti.
