Sahnah Lim is a public health fellow at the Liberian Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare. She is currently attending Columbia University, pursuing a joint masters degree in public health and international affairs. Previous to her graduate studies, she gained diverse travel, internship, and professional experience. Most notably, she interned at a reproductive health organization in Senegal and subsequently at a rural health clinic with rape victims and sex workers in Ecuador. In terms of work experience, Ms. Lim worked as a case manager and community health educator at a Korean non-profit in New York City (NYC) and then took a position at Planned Parenthood of NYC as sex education program coordinator. Once she completes her graduate studies, she plans to pursue a career in which she can continue to advance the reproductive health and rights of the most vulnerable men and women in today’s world.
